Who are we?
TCH is the headhunting division of The Crew Academy, founded in 2012. The division started from a growing demand from yacht captains and residential managers to find the highly trained staff.
Milica Seguela – Manager
Milica heads up the team and offers a wealth of experience, having spent her entire career in the service industry, from luxury hotels, private households to cruise ship industry.
She has Hotel Management degree and over 10 years’ experience in the yacht crew recruitment sector placing crew, from junior to senior positions.
Milica is trilingual English, French and Serbo-Croatian. Milica is best placed to find the right fit for our clients and candidates alike.
Alex Boughton – Headhunter
Alex made the decision to move into a shore side position after over a decade of working on yachts predominantly as Chief Stewardess. She has therefore acquired a thorough understanding and wealth of knowledge in how the interior of a yacht runs. Having recruited and interviewed many Stewardess’ to work alongside her over the years, transitioning into a shore side role in recruitment was an obvious choice. Alex is focused on helping to find the perfect match between Client and Crew, understanding the importance of a harmonious team.
Catherine Sinclair – Headhunter
Catherine began her career as an English teacher in an International school, helping children learn and grow in a bilingual setting. She later discovered the yachting and spent two years working as a stewardess on boats up to 80m. Catherine is very much people person, she is now happy to use her skills and knowledge to guide others seeking their perfect yachting career and clients seeking their perfect crew member.
Sophie McKay – Headhunter
Sophie joins us from New Zealand and has a wealth of knowledge for the yachting industry after having spent 9 years on yachts herself. She knows how important it is to find the ‘right fit’ and she has had plenty of experience in building her own teams throughout those years. With her transition into shore based work she has found a new passion for facilitating partnering the right crew member for the right position.
Sophie Barber – Assistant Headhunter
Sophie began her working career in London as a Personal Assistant, but after a few years she craved adventure and traveled to Palma to embark on a new yachting career and has never looked back. Having spent 3 years in yachting in positions varying from Deckhand to Chief Stewardess, she has a broad experience of working both in the interior and exterior. She has now settled shore side and brings her yachting experience to helping others find their long-lasting positions.
