Who are we?

TCH is the headhunting division of The Crew Academy, founded in 2012. The division started from a growing demand from yacht captains and residential managers to find the highly trained staff.


Milica Seguela – Manager


Milica heads up the team and offers a wealth of experience, having spent her entire career in the service industry, from luxury hotels, private households to cruise ship industry.

She has Hotel Management degree and over 10 years’ experience in the yacht crew recruitment sector placing crew, from junior to senior positions.

Milica is trilingual English, French and Serbo-Croatian. Milica is best placed to find the right fit for our clients and candidates alike. 


Lucy Gledhill – Headhunter – on Maternity leave

Having worked her way up from junior stewardess to chief stewardess over her 7 years in the industry, Lucy has an extensive knowledge of interior roles as well as the running and recruitment process onboard.

Lucy joined her first yacht straight out of university and she has never looked back. The industry has given her the opportunity to travel the world and develop skills and expertise quickly and intensely – the way only yachting can!

She understands how crucial it is to get the right people in the right positions. Lucy has now chosen to settle in France and use her onboard experience to help crew and clients make successful and long-lasting matches.


Alex Boughton – Headhunter

Alex made the decision to move into a shore side position after over a decade of working on yachts predominantly as Chief Stewardess. She has therefore acquired a thorough understanding and wealth of knowledge in how the interior of a yacht runs. Having recruited and interviewed many Stewardess’ to work alongside her over the years, transitioning into a shore side role in recruitment was an obvious choice. Alex is focused on helping to find the perfect match between Client and Crew, understanding the importance of a harmonious team.


Catherine Sinclair – Headhunter

Catherine began her career as an English teacher in an International school, helping children learn and grow in a bilingual setting. She later discovered the yachting and spent two years working as a stewardess on boats up to 80m. Catherine is very much people person, she is now happy to use her skills and knowledge to guide others seeking their perfect yachting career and clients seeking their perfect crew member.


Heidi Souther – Headhunter

Heidi joins The Crew Hunter remotely from Australia after working within the yachting Industry worldwide for the last 10 years, most previously as a Chief Stew and Purser. Loving to work with people she always found a great deal of enjoyment in the recruitment element of her experience and is excited to be working on this side of the process in helping to cultivate the ideal relationship between job seekers and ship management. Due to being a yacht crew member for several years and most recently recruiting for a large Interior department Heidi acknowledges the importance of finding the right fit and understands the intricacies of position requirements and individual preferences. Heidi is excited to be a point of contact for the Crew Hunter in the Pacific and looks forward to facilitating a reliable and constant line of communication and support for both clientele and crew.


Chaitra Narayanappa – Administrator

Chaitra moved to France in 2016 to complete Master’s in International Management Degree with the Major in HR. She joined The Crew Hunter team to do a 6 Months Internship as a part of the Master’s Programme and ended up staying full time with the company. Chaitra is trained Indian Classical Dancer and she enjoys dancing and learning different dance styles in her free time.
